On 20th April 2021, the Planning Authority gave its green light for the commencement of the Luqa Affordable Housing Project which forms part of the massive Affordable Housing Project which is currently being carried out by the Government. Luqa will be the biggest affordable housing site since it will include the construction of 267 apartments, 228 garages and 45 parking spaces. Adding to this, the site will include also open spaces and a landscaping scheme. The project is financed by Malita Investments PLC and is being co-ordinated by Projects Plus Limited which is responsible for all the technical aspects of this project including the overall management of this project.
