On the 18th of May 2021, the Minister for Infrastructure Ian Borg and the Minister for Home Affairs Byron Camilleri launched the Floriana Fire Station Project.
This project has been entrusted to Projects Plus Limited by the Civil Protection Department headed by the Ministry for Home Affairs, National Security and Law Enforcement.
This project consists of the construction of a €3 million Fire Station in Floriana for which there is already a planning permit. Projects Plus’ role shall include the architectural, engineering and IT detailing, specifications, BOQs, works/services procurement and project management.
This project is estimated to be completed by July 2024.
